Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.
Discipleship is for everyone, not just new believers. Discipleship is the process by which we all continue to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ and take on his nature and passion of honoring God in every part of our lives.
Make discipleship as important to you as it is to the Father. The more you get involved, the more change you will see.

THE JOURNEY OF DISCIPLESHIP
Receive Jesus Christ
"But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
Ask Jesus Christ to forgive you and start your journey as a follower of Christ. Share your decision with others and confirm your commitment to him.

Serve in the House
Serving others as unto Christ is more than simply volunteering for the nursery team, hospitality team, or the sound team. Serving is part of the discipleship journey.
Serving others is the giving of yourself in these areas and more to serve the greater body of Christ so the Gospel can be demonstrated with action and not just words. Begin serving on a Serve Team today.

Faithful Support
Yes, that's right. Faithful support with your tithes and offerings is part of your discipleship journey. God is generous and while he asks for 100% of your life he only asks for 10% of your income.
Faithful giving teaches you to trust Yahweh while enabling His Gospel to continue to change lives both locally and around the world, including yours.

Steps to Discipleship Explained
You've accepted Christ. Now what?
Receiving Jesus Christ as your savior is the most important decision you will ever make and it is the first step in your discipleship journey.
After you have made the decision to serve Christ what do you do next?
1. Scripture teaches us that when we receive Christ we are "born-again." Share your decision with family and friends.
2. To understand the decision you made, read John chapters 14 and 15 in your Bible. If you do not own a Bible, let us know.
3. Find a church home and let the church leadership know of your decision.
4. Ask to be baptized in water as a demonstration of your changed life.
5. Follow through with the other three steps of discipleship shared on this page.
What does it mean to be present?
Your Discipleship Journey requires you to be present so that you can grow and be changed by the Gospel as it is being shared through various sources.
Being present for growth means being faithful and consistent in attendance in church services and related classes and events. By being present you are immersing yourself in the culture of the Kingdom of God and by God's design the more you are present the more you are changed.
Commit to being present in the following ways:
1. Sunday services for building your faith.
2. Growth Tracks where you receive deep-dive teaching.
3. Events and activities that develop Godly relationships.
4. Join in the Bible Reading Plan with The Rock via the app and grow in your understanding of Scripture.
5. Download The Rock App and stay connected.

How can I serve?
Volunteering to serve is a vital step in your discipleship journey as it allows you to be a participant in the functions of the body of Christ.
Joining a Serve Team in the house teaches you that putting others needs above your own is a direct demonstration of the nature of Christ. The experience of volunteering on a Serve Team is both educational and rewarding.

Supporting the body of Christ.
Tithing is the principle Yahweh put in place to provide for the ongoing ministry of the body of Christ, the church. While it may seem that you are giving money to a church, in truth, you are giving back to Yahweh what belongs to him. He asks for 100% of our lives but only 10% of our income.
