Yahweh Grows Trees, Man Builds Skyscrapers

"Then I saw all the work of God, that man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun. However much man may toil in seeking, he will not find it out. Even though a wise man claims to know, he cannot find it out." Ecclesiastes 8:17

Yahweh is truly a magnificent creator! As you observe the world around you, I want you to take note of what Yahweh has made and what man has made. Yahweh made trees that grow and reproduce after one another. Man has built tall buildings to dwell in and often dresses them up with lights to make them more appealing.  Listen to the ocean or even a rainstorm.. Yahweh made them beautiful both in appearance and sound. Now look outside your window and listen to the cars in traffic with the honking of horns and the humming of the engines. My point is, the difference between the two is very noteworthy. And what we do when we want peace and quiet? We gravitate toward creation! We retreat to a quiet forest, sit on a beach, or even hike up a mountain.  Men attempt to create “beauty” and it falls short of Yahweh’s every time. I would encourage you this week to take a moment and appreciate the world Yahweh has made for us. We don’t worship His creation, but we can certainly honor what He has made us stewards over.
