New Wine

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your body and refreshment to your bones.Honor the Lord from your wealth and from the first of all your produce; So your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine." Proverbs 3:5-10

When we trust Yahweh, fully trust, it does not require understanding. That type of trust is life giving and has the power to open pathways leading to peace. As we give thanks and choose his way, our paths have an expected end. Healing is promised to us and so is refreshing! All these things are tied to a single act of obedience. We must honor Yahweh with our first and best! To fully function in this, we must see all increase from our faithful God, not happenstance. He brings peace, joy, fulfillment of dreams, healing, and wealth…just to name a few. It is his desire for his sons to always function with the supply of heaven. Begin to practice honoring him with your first and best. I remember when my dog had a litter of puppies. Each time, I would choose the very best puppy and sow the purchase price in the offering at church. You know, I never had trouble selling my puppies. I knew it was the blessing flowing from honoring Yahweh with my best. As increase manifests, may we honor him with the first and best. Let the new wine overflow our vats in great proportion in every area. It is his promise!
